What This Is All About

Welcome to my writing journey.  That is what this blog is about.  I will write each and every day, no matter what.  I will find the time.  I will make the time.  And I will blog about it.  That’s where you come in.  You get to be witness to my ideas, my failures, my writing, and ultimately (and hopefully) my success as a writer.  I hope you find it enjoyable, entertaining, and inspiring.

I am a writer.  I have always loved to write.  One of my favorite things to do as a child was to write stories.  It has been the one thing that always comes back to me, no matter how many times I put it aside, no matter how distracted I get, I always come back to the fact that I want to write.  So, now I am finally getting serious about it.

I also love to read.  My favorite author is Diana Gabaldon.  She is my biggest inspiration.  Her writing is amazing and I cannot get enough of her Outlander series, my all-time favorite story, that of Jaimie Fraser and his beloved Claire.

I have four wonderful children, two boys and two girls, and an absolutely amazing husband, without whom I would not even be typing these words right now.  You see, I am currently using my brand new laptop, my Christmas present from said husband and children, to write this.  This is very exciting for me, as I have wanted a laptop for years.  I will always cherish this gift and the words that came from my husband as I pulled it out of the box and looked at it for the first time- “Keep writing.”
